Meet The Owner
My name is Sherry Cassily & I am the owner of Archangels Specialty Home Care. I have been in the healthcare field for 20+ years & have worked in various stages of the field, including home health care, senior care, & home care services.
I have always loved to help people going all the way back to childhood. My passion for helping people has only grown since then. When I was in my early teenage years I volunteered at a local skilled nursing facility in Brunswick. My friend, friend's mother & myself would volunteer in the Activities Department.
During this time we would make crafts, help with parties, & simply socialize with the residents of the facility. I still remember the glowing faces when we walked in the door!
As I got older into my later teenage years I volunteered at a local church in Brunswick. I was a pre-school teacher for the religious program & also did various speeches for the Women's Mission Group. In addition to volunteering for the church, I also assisted at the Soup Kitchen to feed the homeless & unfortunate people of the Brunswick community.
During my 20+ years of working in the healthcare industry I have worked many different positions. I started as an Activities Leader & then quickly grew into a State Tested Nursing Assistant for many years. Following my State Tested Nursing Assistant years I grew into various office personnel positions. I was eventually promoted to a Human Resource Manager, which was my ultimate goal back then.
After 10 years of employment with 1 skilled nursing facility I moved on to further my Human Resource career; however, I came right back to the healthcare field when I was hired as an Office Manager for a home care company, offering senior care to individuals.
